Rules

General

• No posting in character until that character has been approved by a staff member.
  
• No pestering people to reply to your thread. If they haven't replied in 1 week, you may send a polite PM to remind them.
  
• No post reserves! That means no posting an OOC note that you will be bringing your character into a thread. It dissuades people who have time to post from posting in that thread, and can be very annoying for the original poster and people who want to get involved but have to wait for you. Either post or don't. It's that simple.
  
• You may curse, if some one has a problem with it, then just ask for the people cussing to stop. Please avoid swearing in anger.
  
• Maximum five characters per account, unless given special permission by an admin. It doesn't hurt to ask, I usually say yes if you've been active.
  
• Posts must be at least 200 words. It sounds like a lot, but it really isn't. I usually post twice this without blinking. Elaborate! Describe the setting, the time of day, scenery, your character's mood, thoughts, flashbacks, anything! The more detail you give the more people will get to know your character and want to interact with them!
  
• There are no lights, darks or neutrals. Those words mean nothing here, so I don't want to see them used in that clichéd manner.
  
• Make sure that any images in your signature do not exceed 550 pixels wide and 400 pixels high.
  
• You are responsible for your own characters' aging.
  
• Your character's name may be in a large font, but for the body of your posts please keep it to size 3 or less.
  

Human Characters

• Human characters will not have a big role on this site unless they are a Lab worker, Guard in the LAB, or a cop in the city that deals in the disappearing teen cases.
  
• The human characters can powerplay to a certain point, they can't just out right say what your character is doing, but they can say that your character was placed somewhere or had something put on to it.
  
• all posts with these characters must be at least 350 words.
  

Were Wolves

• If you are thinking of the huge ass wolves from Twilight then get out right now!
  
• Werewolves here have three forms: Human, Anthro(or half and half) and Wolf
  
• I do not want any sparkle dogs here, if I see one the application will be deleted with out warning(this is your first and only warning)
  
• Odd or slightly bright colors are allowed here, but please no neon any where but the eye color.
  
• I would like to keep the markings normal, but a few odd markings are fine.
  
• when a were changes form it is a little painful at first but fades to a numb sensation.
  
• When they shift there clothes aren't ruined and torn to shreds, any piercings will transfer with shift if they are sterling silver, and sometimes hats and scarves or bracelets will transfer.
  

Wolf Packs

• There will only be a few wolf packs, but there will be more as the site grows.
  
• There must be an Alpha pair before any members of a lower rank enter that pack.
  
• There will not be many 'loner' wolves, wolves must go into a pack unless there original pack got taken by the Lab. Even then they must soon join a pack, if a wolf hasn't joined a pack in a month(real time) the Lab will grab them.
  
• Every pack has a 50% chance to have a few members taken by the lab, this will be checked upon every RL month.
  
• Females can only get pregnant in spring and winter, but pups can be born at anytime. After a breeding you must go to the pups board and fill out the form there, after your pups can be born at anytime after a week.
  
• (that last rule was very confusing) There is no site wide set season! But if you choose to breed then the setting of the thread must be winter or spring.
